Lt. Gov. Green: Hawaiʻi’s vaping rate is three times higher than rest of the nation
Lt. Gov. Josh Green was part of a round table at the state capitol Monday (Dec. 16, 2019) where lawmakers, medical professionals and families discussed the youth vaping epidemic in Hawaiʻi and potential solutions to address it.
Kauai resident Tom Lindsey wanted in because two of his 14 children are addicted.
“It is in our community, in our families. It exists really close to us. Even though the sale of these products are not allowable to children, they’re still getting it to the children’s hand,” he said.
