Geri Q. L. Young, MD has committed her life to serving the youth of Kaua‘i.

Dr. Young has practiced as a pediatrician for more than 40 years. In 1981 she moved to Kaua‘i to work at Kaua‘i Medical Group with her husband, an ED physician. Kaua‘i Medical Group transitioned to Kaua‘i Medical Clinic in 1996 and became part of Wilcox Medical Center where Dr. Young she served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics. After the merger with Hawai‘i Pacific Health, Dr. Young was appointed Chief Medical Officer for Kaua‘i Medical Clinic. she also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Hawai‘i Pacific Health and continued her practice as a pediatrician. In 2020, Dr. Young was appointed Kaua‘i Medical Director of Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group. Dr. Young is a member of the Kaua‘i Rural Health Association, serves on the Quality Improvement Advisory Committee of Aloha Care, serves on the Board of Hale Opio, serves on the Board of Directors for the Hawai‘i Program for Healthcare Professionals (Pu’ulu Lapa’au) and serves on the Board of Medical Examiners for the State of Hawai‘i.

Dr. Young also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the John A. Burns School of Medicine.
